Week 11: 3D Printed Hollow Form Object - The Hybrid
For this project we were to generate our own ideas for making a hollow object or vessel and then combine our concepts with a partner. Both partners design elements should be included but they can be revised in order for the 2 concepts to fit together better.
Here are the concepts made:

In the end we decided to use the "legs" that Melanie made and duplicate them so they would seamlessly connect to the star shaped vessel that I made. I really like how the design turned out.
When we got into Prusa slicer we ran into a few problems. In the original design it connects perfectly and is self supporting without any gaps. When sliced the design generated a new base underneath that was not there prior to slicing it and gaps and cuts were made in the middle. We are unsure of how to get rid of this.
